I woke up this morning to  happy thoughts mind numbing terror a BJ an Earthquake. It shook my house and wasn’t very strong, but it was enough to rattle me, wake me up, and freak me out sufficiently to keep me awake for the next hour and a half. So instead of sleeping up in my loft, I went online to try to figure out what the hell had just happened. Surprisingly, the USGS website was already updated with some info about the event. Seismologists around Illinois must’ve been jerking each other off in excitement.

Coincidentally, today is the 102nd anniversary of the 1906 San Fransisco Earthquake.
