Here’s a couple of photos from my last stint in Champaign this spring, from hanging out around the house… to being on a boom lift… to nothing much at all really. I kinda shied away from using my DSLR most of the spring in lieu of using my phone as a camera for on-the-spot candids (if you’re Facebook friends with me, check out “iPhone4 days”). Looking back i forget how much quality there is in 5 lbs of aluminum alloy and glass. If only it were pocket size.
Here’s some from back in December of my friends Cindy and Donny and I on our semi-monthly dinner outing at a hotpot place in Chinatown.
Despite having been rained out the previous week, this year’s (4th annual) Edgar Sanchez Memorial Classic was a very good turnout. Props to Jessi, Othon, and everyone else who worked hard to make it happen.
Went out with some old DI buddies for what was originally a photo-excursion and ended up a $10 dollar Cubs game & a stroll through downtown. Had to take off early but got some okay shots. It’s been a while.

Went to a Korean Barbeque restaurant with some old intern friends. Catching up and reminiscing about that one great summer where we went on lunch excursions, ragged on the HR intern, and got MCD breakfast before our carpool.
When we were discussing going out to dinner on gChat, Cindy accidentaly spelled COLD noodles as “Code” noodles. Freudian slip for a CS major, right? But our “Code” noodles didn’t take too long to compile!
