I went home for the weekend and had a chance to shoot an Illinois football scrimmage with Jeremy Berg on Saturday in Oak Park (half an hour from my house). I stopped by Calumet before the practice to buy a new Eyepiece for my 1D (they ordered the wrong one, but I called in and changed the order); I also bought some gaffers tape and toyed with the idea of renting a 1.4x teleconverter (however, I’d have to return it on Monday). The scrimmage was pretty fun, the weather was great and I got a lot of shots during the practice part of it that you don’t normally get to see during the game, while the scrimmage part was good practice for an actual game day.
