Hehe did you know there are lots of teachers (but not students) from the Philippines down here? I am learning a lot of cultural things from them. My favorite was when Mrs. Landicho told the principal ‘It looks like you’ve gained weight.’ Apparently that is a compliment, like a way of saying ‘It looks like your family must be doing well, etc.” Our ‘life skills’ teacher is also from the Philippines and a little crazy. She sprinkles holy water on the autistic girls to cure the ‘demons.’ Her methods haven’t been successful thus far, but I wish her well. She’s a very sweet lady.
Oh, and these are some cool portraits. I wanna see some from the studio though.
