Achiles Displaying the Body of Hector at the Feet of Patroclus : Jean-Joseph Taillasson
I had to stop by the local art museum on Friday for my Intro to Art class. Its a really easy class, and the professor is your typical hippie 3rd grade art teacher.
Which leads me to the subject of this blog post. I just turned in a paper (about the above painting) for that class which I pretty much wrote between 7am to 9:20am this morning. A five page paper. That I’ve had two weeks to work on. In one and a half hours. And it was pretty good (hopefully). Why is it that I always put things off to the last minute? Why do I need to feel that pressure to get something so seemingly mundane and easy done? Why is it that I chose to watch the end of “Castaway” and all of “Ghostbusters” last night? My guess? I’m just an idiot.
