July was a pretty busy month, mostly because Summertime in Chicago is the best. Here’s part 1 of some of the stuff that happened.
Went to go see my favorite local band at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago last night. The first one below was taken by Sam Park, master photographer, with my camera.
They played a cover of “Tomorrow Never Knows,” which is one of my favorite trippy Beatles songs. And it also brought me right back to that one Mad Men episode where they paid a ludicrous sum of money for the song rights.
What happens when you throw composition and looking through the viewfinder out the window? Shooting from the hip while taking in the food, liquor, and West Loopites of Randolph Fest.
