A Few SPD T-Shirt Designs
Here are a few T-Shirts I made for my fraternity back in Champaign. They came up with the ideas for em and I just carried them out. For the first one: This year they decided to do a Star Wars themed float (naturally, with “Darth Illini” being a member of the house), which wasn’t the prettiest float, but it had the most “heart.” The second design is just a barcrawl in honor of our dear old pal, Brendan Joyce. If only there were a few more incriminating pictures of him on facebook.
I’ve been busy with school in Chicago so I haven’t had time to shoot or design anything lately, but I’ll post some new stuff here and there. Keep on truckin’!
ESMC 2011
Despite having been rained out the previous week, this year’s (4th annual) Edgar Sanchez Memorial Classic was a very good turnout. Props to Jessi, Othon, and everyone else who worked hard to make it happen.
Summer Photoexcursion
Went out with some old DI buddies for what was originally a photo-excursion and ended up a $10 dollar Cubs game & a stroll through downtown. Had to take off early but got some okay shots. It’s been a while.

Explosions in the Sky
Here’s a couple of up-close fireworks photos from last night’s patriotic exhibition. ~10 second exposures, somewhere near 200mm, f8, ISO100. Some of ’em remind me of Pollock paintings.
And here’s two at a more normal focal length. The first one explains those horizontal black lines.
I still would like to do a timelapse on a future Fourth of July, and maybe even try doing some audio. Yep, this is my idea of fun.
